Adjoining the Lovina Real Estate office, on the main street in the heart of Lovina Serendipity opened its doors in June 2009.

This little shop has an eclectic range of gifts and souvenirs for sale; items are sourced from all over Bali and accommodate all budgets.

Alit (who studied in America) is a gifted sculpture and wood carver whose lineage can be traced back through four generations. His gallery has some wonderful traditional style wood carvings but here in the north we choose to promote his funky Balinese statues. Designed utilizing the contour and knolls in various pieces of wood Alit has created some comical pieces.

A small range of books by expatriates that reside on Bali are for sale with new stock being sourced on a regular basis. We currently have a wonderful cookery book by Diana Von Cranach from Pemutran, North Bali. Diana’s book is full of tantalizing recipes. Her jams and chutneys (that we stock) are lovingly processed from locally organic produce and are proving to be a hit.

And if you love gossip-and we all know that Lovina thrives on it- then you will adore the books by Made Wijaya. His Stranger in Paradise columns have raised some eyebrows over the past twenty something years; edited these witty volumes make for an amusing read.

Jewelry from local silversmiths is on display along with some pieces designed exclusively for us by Jessica Lee. Leather work, hand blown glass, paintings, metal and mosaic art work are just a sample of what’s on offer.
